WHO?

Our programs are open to youth aged 12-17. We allow registrations from younger kids on a case-by-case basis, at the program Counselor’s discretion. In this case, please contact the Coordinator.

Our members range from beginners to immensely polished contest-winning speakers.

HOW?

Our weekly 2 hour sessions follow the Toastmasters meeting structure. Members take on roles and speeches, including short impromptu speeches called Table Topics, at their own pace. They get access to the official Toastmasters Competent Communication and Competent Leadership manuals, as well as other internal resources. Once a member has completed all CC and CL projects, they will receive Competent Gavelier Communicator and Competent Leader awards from Toastmasters International.

With the guidance of a club Counselor, members learn by:

  • Making prepared and improvised speeches

  • Taking notes

  • Providing feedback to other members

  • Taking on meeting roles, including leading the meeting

  • Taking on Executive roles within their club

WHERE?

We run our meetings at 3 community centers. For more info, visit the ‘Clubs’ tab.
