A Toastmasters member since his
first year in university, Vasily has
been involved in public speaking for
over 8 years. Toastmasters - and
later Gavel - has become a staple
of his life, providing a stimulating educational
environment and an unbeatable social atmosphere. Vasily is grateful for the friends he has made as a District-appointed officer. Over the years, he has placed at Division and other non-Toastmasters contests. Vasily has immersed himself in mentorship, having worked as a teacher before becoming a Counselor in 2022. Watching dedicated members grow into shockingly talented speakers has made his time as a Counselor duly rewarding.
